Ivar's is a Northwest Tradition that began in 1938 on the Seattle Waterfront when Ivar Haglund opened Seattle's first aquarium. Ivar realized the aquarium visitors would get hungry during their visits and offered them fish 'n chips. 65 years later, Ivar's continues to serve award-winning seafood at our Seafood Bars and restaurants.
